Our Victory Lap

This week has been exploding with new business and it’s been exciting to see all the volume fly in through our network. We’ve been working around the clock to improve our adserving algorithm and we expect it to be released within the next two weeks. In addition, our design team is about to implement the new UI throughout the entire affiliate center after the massive success and praise we got by doing a soft launch within our gateway creation process. If you guys have any suggestions or bugs you notice for our technology please feel free to contact me directly and we will get it integrated in. BLAM relies heavily on user-feedback, this is your software! Today I’m excited to have another huge release of features that have been able to get completed in the meantime while we tweak the math on our algorithm. Most of the features / bugs below are from our members so I would like to directly thank everyone for their assistance.

  • Try Another Offer Bug - The issue is that if the user clicks an offer and decides to not complete it by clicking on “Try another survey”, the offer is removed from the list which now counts 1 offer less. Instead, we now replace the skipped offer with another campaign (if available) to keep the list to the desired length and increase EPC’s / lost conversions. (releasing later this week)
  • Report a Bug Button - Even though all the features and bugs are getting fixed one by one with BLAM4, we realize there are still going to be bugs that we cannot find. We added a simple report a bug button to our affiliate backend so publishers can report any problems they have and get it resolved quickly.
  • Affiliate Referral Commission Report- There was a bug in reporting affiliate referral commissions that has now been resolved. Now any publisher that you previously referred will show in there along with the profit you make off of them. BLAM Ads has the absolute highest referral program out there in the entire industry.
  • Added Network Wide EPC Globally - Now affiliates can see the network EPC anywhere an offer is listed, including on the affiliate network side of things. Previously it was only available on the content gateway. This makes it easier for people that have custom technology, GPT’s or run our offers individually.
  • New BLM.BZ Skins - Even though we’re in the process of creating more themes and customization, we decided to expedite a skin specifically made for people with download sites along with (4) extra ones. If you have any specific content locking themes you want from us built out shoot me an email now and I can make it happen!
  • Automatic Translation & Detection of BLAMCart - We just implemented automatic text translation so international visitors don’t get confused. We’re currently in the process of getting it translated into 15 primary languages! This will help you better monetize your international visitors with ease. If you have any questions on how to use this or need help monetizing your eBooks / WSO’s contact your AM now.
  • Ability to Edit Title and Description on Gateways - Previously we could only put your own text when the gateway comes up for one line. We now added the feature so you can edit the heading and then several lines of description under that.  This was a user-requested feature that our competition has and allows even further customization of your gateways!
  • Completely Fixing the Datafeed - I was surveying affiliates for features / bugs within BLAM4 and someone replied to me with “The datafeed is a bad joke that I can not find the humor in.” It made me laugh outloud, and I immediately contacted my developers to completely renovate and improve it. We added, edited, and fixed over thirty features (fully detailed in our support center) to make it easier for GPT / custom technology to our system.

Big Cache Ballers

BLAM Ads has been exploding with new campaigns, features and upgrades to our entire BLAM4 platform. Even though we sent a newsletter earlier this week, we thought it was necessary to send another because of the sheer amount of happenings going on. We’re going through one of the most exciting times of our company, especially with the news of our competitors businesses affiliates have been flocking over to the most trusted solution: BLAM Ads. In the coming weeks expect some major changes that will even further increase the traffic flying through out networks, including loosened up payment terms, more short-form lead gens, a fully released UI, and a new algorithm.

Anyways, before getting into the massive list of new offers let’s talk about some of the new exciting features added to our content locking gateway technology:

  • Country Max Offers - We now have the ability for publishers to limit the amount of offers they want to display in individual countries. Also, the automatic algorithm will soon have pre-determined and optimized limits on select countries. It makes no sense to show 4 offers for a country that has 10 offers total, with only two performers. By allowing you and us to limit the amount of offers per country, we’re able to drastically increase the associated EPC’s.
  • Redirect After Gateway Completion - This feature was requested over and over and finally BLAM Ads delivers. Now our users have the ability to redirect users to a user-specified URL upon completion of the gateway allowing even further customization.
  • SubID Bug Fixed - Random failures to track sub id tracking with failure to report them back. This is huge news for publishers that utilize GPT softwares that rely heavily on subid variables. This is was a vital patch that we had to get out to make our technology more portable, we apologize about the error.
  • BLAMCart: Editable Logo - Affiliates now have the ability to edit the logo on top of the cart to further improve conversion rates! Right now we are still in beta so be prepared for a lot more customizable setting coming soon, including a full editor to adjust colors / theme contents to match your landing pages!
  • BLAMCart: Credit = Price of Product Option - We now have the option to give a 1:1 value for your product to users. For example, if your product costs $9.99, users must completes a bare minimum of $9.99 worth of affiliate commissions to you before unlocking the product.
  • Ability to Name & Delete Own Templates - This simple feature was added giving affiliates the ability to name their own custom made templates. This makes it much easier for publishers to navigate throughout their massive lists of content locking gateways. We also added the (seemingly obvious) ability for publishers to delete their templates, a dire feature that was lacking before. Now you can clean up the clutter

We Will Win This War

Ahh, Easter is finally over and we’re back from a successful ad:Tech San Francisco. Lately, it seems like our competition is making it easier and easier for BLAM Ads to thrive and we are grateful for that. It felt great striding myself through the conference floors with “BLAM Ads Inc.” on my badge – our name is known everywhere and I was able to meet so many new affiliates in person. It’s truly an exciting and motivating experience for me because I put so much time into building this into the most supreme content locking network. Even writing this newsletter now at 10:53pm Easter Sunday motivates me for the week ahead – I absolutely love doing what I do. There has been a lot of visible upgrades since our last newsletter including a fully upgraded user interface. We’ve also made some progress on our algorithm and we expect some major changes to be completed within the next two weeks. Our team has done a lot of research and testing internally (and with a select few affiliates) and we’ve been able to increase EPC’s drastically with some simple adserving changes.

We highly suggest that all affiliates that got confused with the old user interface log into their account now and check it out. We simplified the hell out of what we had before. Basically, we released BLAM4 with an initial set of features and what we ended up with… well, it outgrew what we had originally planned. We have so many advanced features it even confused me when I was going through the gateway creation process. The new UI breaks it up into two options: simple or advanced gateway. The advanced gateway has all the same features, just displayed in a simpler way (with expanding / hidden features and options). The simple gateway takes a couple steps and relies completely on our new algorithm for serving ads.

If you have experience with content locking, or fully understand your demographics needs – use the advanced one. It allows you to select certain offers and adjust settings that may help your conversion rates. If your newer or just want to rely on our pre-optimized gateway settings, use the simple one. It allows you to easily select the theme, category of traffic and some basic settings then you are 100% set. We are openly taking suggestions right now on how to further improve it, please bare with us because it’s a huge overhaul so there may be some inconveniences and glitches; just let us know and we will resolve within 72 hours.

Before letting you guys go, three of our 4BLAM4 contests are coming to an end with winners! Congratulations to everyone that participated and I’d like you for your business. March was one of the most exciting months for business and it was honestly amazing to see all the new publishers come in!

Victory Feels Great

I’m glad to say that our first phase of speed optimizations is complete and feeds are drastically increased - we needed to prioritize this over everything else. Now that BLAM4 is stable, the traffic increased drastically and we outgrew the infracture so the programming was necessary. In addition, this Wednesday we are releasing a whole new user interface that completely simplifies the entire gateway process. It seems like we went a little feature crazy, but in the process we overcomplicated the entire system. The new gateway creation UI is going to focus heavily on utilization of our ad serving algorithm, making it easier for the traditional website content lockers.

BLAM Ads growth has been astounding lately: we approved thousands of new publishers in the last month and that has been motivating for our entire team to say the least. Managing the massive influxes of publishers motivates us to work even harder, to come up with more innovative ideas and to develop technology that continues to adapt with the times and changes in trends. We’ve implemented revolutionary features such as BLM.bz link shortening and BLAMCart technology, both in beta, which are being used successfully by hundreds of publishers. Every morning our account managers are faced with new challenges and we appreciate all the support we get from our publishers on our mission.

Today we are going to go over some of our content locking formats and how to utilize them:

  • Flash Content Locking Gateway - By placing a single line of code on your page, BLAM Ads can automatically content lock all the flash elements. This works out perfect for movie sites and flash game sites. These sites grow virally and have been making some publishers thousands of dollars a day in commission, especially for the larger ones.

  • Traditional HTML JavaScript Gateway - The classic killa’, this gateway is still the most utilized format because it’s the most diverse. If you have a traditional website seeking a superior solution, this is your choice. Perfect for sites and blogs that generate their traffic organically. Contact your account manager for more information and strategies.
  • BLM.BZ Link Shortening - Publishers have been using this as an intermediary for their download links because it entirely blocks the user from locating the end URL. Usually download visitors are a bit smarter than the average user, so utilizing the BLM.BZ link shortening technology is a perfect solution. We have (5) new templates ready to be implemented after some important programming changes that we’re getting done first.
  • BLAMCart (beta) - This cart technology is in a very early beta, but it’s already attracting a whole new crowd to the network. For anyone that puts out WSO’s or other e-book formats, this innovational new content locking format will allow you to set a certain price for your product, and the user must complete set amount in offers to gain access to it.

YouTube & Social Content Locking Guide

I love doing what I do because I love seeing my dreams come true. I’ve been working with Andre Ramsey for almost two years on BLAM Ads and it’s slowly but surely grown into exactly the dreams we plotted years back on my balcony. We developed BLAM4 together from the ground up and I can confidently say that we have the most superior content locking technology out there. To match the technology, our buisness development division has been able to put full focus on growing our inventory of offers and we now demolish any competitor out there with over (2700) active offers, almost as many as our sister company EWA Private Network. We’re currently in the process of optimizing our code so it loads fast (should be another 10 days until it’s fully completed) and then we can continue on with integrating our new user interface; an interface that will totally simipify our advanced platform. We listen to the publishers and we are fully aware of the flaws. We are listening and we are working on them. We will not give up until we’ve reached all of our goals.

Today Goutham decided to help us out and provide a social traffic guide for users to start making real money from content locking. There are literally hundreds of methods to make money with BLAM Ads because we have the most ways for publishers to use our offers. From the RESTful API, to the BLAM Cart, to the Flash Content Locking to the traditional HTML Gateway – you will make more with BLAM Ads. Anyways, enough with the corporate propeganda (as much as I love it), let’s continue on with our guide by Goutham

Methods, tactics whatever you call it. I use this, i make money off this. A site makes me around $1000 a month; you think $1000 is less? It isn’t when you have around 15 sites! Hands off income if you know how to do it! Getting traffic from YouTube used to be child’s play, although it isn’t that easy right now, it isn’t totally hard either. In this guide, i’l give you all the information that can get you started with Social traffic and youtube traffic for frequently updated content. When i say frequently updated content, i mean hot stuff, like the latest episodes of a tv show, a movie, new games and their cheats. There are unlimited possibilities!

The Social Traffic Plan
Quite simple, here are a few key points:

  • Get a domain – anything generic for the content you plan on
  • Get WordPress – a must, dot. No questions, only wordpress.
  • WP Syndicator –that plugin is going to make you money. Find it!

Use our wordpress optimization guide for more info on optimizing wordpress.

This is how the plan opens up…
Start posting the content on your wordpress site. Make sure that you have at least 100+ words for each post. If it is a movie or TV show or something you might not know about, repeat facts. Then Syndicate the post to web 2.0 sites using WP Syndicator. WP syndicator, posts to a range of web 2.0 sites, you get backlinks and you get traffic. Traffic doesn’t come in instantly, sometimes it takes some time, even a couple of weeks to see some decent traffic.

Got the money or the tools?
Get scrapebox, scrapebox the hell outta your web 2.0 links. Ensures a pyramid structure. Rinse and repeat.

YouTube Traffic Mantra
The logic of youtube is a good SEOd video, views, comments and yes backlinks. Make a few videos for each episode name, or each movie name. Episodes are usually show name season X episode Y, show name s01e02 etc. Have a look around youtube and you will find more ideas.Upload as many as videos as you possibly can. Pump some views, get accounts and like them, comment on them. Do it in mass numbers and you are on your way to a big site.

Got the money or the tools?
Buy a YouTube uploader or downloader + uploader. Put it on a VPS, run it 24X7. Kill it. It’s worth it 100%, if you need a referral contact your account manager or post inside of the community chat for people to help you with. We have users posting scripts and selling sites inside of there as well.

4BLAM4 Contests

Now that we’ve finally settled all the technology development up, fixed most* the bugs, and have a strong infrastructure setup – we are finally approving new publishers again into our network! To celebrate our acceptance of new publishers we are launching four new contests:

BLAMCart Technology Released

It’s 1:24am and I was planning to go to bed earlier tonight but when I got into my bedroom I had one thing on my mind: money. BLAM Ads has been exploding with volume after we started approving our first rounds of new publishers in months. We are finally near completion of BLAM4 technology – we’ve surveyed hundreds of publishers for their insight and gotten dozens of amazing suggestions. Within the next month it will be completed, debugged and shortly thereafter we will be releasing hotfixes and tweaks to our technology. Today instead of going over some new methods on how to promote content locking campaigns, we’re going to go over the vast array of new features added within the last couple days. The core system has been fully completed so adding onto it and fixing bugs will be easier than ever before.

  • BLAMCart Soft Release, for WSO & eBook Publishers. We just did a soft release of our exclusive BLAMCART technology! We will be releasing tutorials on how to use this, but we’ve had publishers use it as an alternative payment method for WSO’s and eBooks! (discuss with others)
  • Gateway UNlocking. Content locking publishers now have the ability to enable exit buttons on their gateway so they don’t scare visitors away! Contact your account manager for more information. (discuss with others)
  • BLM.bz Conversion Breakouts. Later this week publishers will be able to **finally** break out by BLM.bz gateway to see individual conversions accordingly! We apologize about not including this earlier and appreciate the feedback! (discuss with others)
  • By Country Report Breakout. Yet another “common sense” feature we forgot to include will be added later this week. Publishers will now be able to easily check EPC’s, conversions and other vital information broken down by country. (to be released later this week. (discuss with others)
  • Integrated Template System. This week we will be releasing our integrated content locking template system with categories and over 1500 templates for you to choose from! BLAM has several full time designers that will be working to fulfill any requests for our members, free of charge! (discuss with others)
  • Questions, Answered. We have an auto-checked box added to gateway creation that offers a simple question mark for your visitors to press to learn how the content gateway uses in simple steps. (discuss with others)
  • Add Exit Pop to Page. This feature was requested over and over by publishers when I surveyed them and we will now be adding a feature for publishers to enable an exit pop to further lock visitors into the site. This feature will be released later this week! (discuss with others)
  • EPC Column on All Offer Listings. This “common sense” feature was accidentally left out – this week every single time an offer search is displayed, an EPC column will be on the right side of it for publishers to easily sort by the top offers! (discuss with others)

That is a lot of new features in one week, I don’t think any network or technology out there is that willing to adapt and implement changes into their company – are they? We make this look so easy – our competition updates their blog once every couple months regarding a lowered threshold or new useless feature. BLAM steps ahead and is building into something far greater than we ever expected. We have taken huge market share since opening and our mission has just begun, the only reason our competition is still in business is because we have such a long list of pending publishers we’ve let bubble.

Refining Your Hustle

Our development team has been working around the clock to add new features into our content locking technology and I would like to thank everyone for their feedback on improving our system. I’ve been personally surveying publishers to get features and I would appreciate your feedback – we need your help to improve the entire experience! Also, if you notice any bugs as you navigate through our system feel free to let us know and we can resolve it immediately. Today we are going to go over a couple new features and how it effects your experience with BLAM4. We have some huge new features being released next week that should be exciting for our exclusive base of publishers – so stay tuned! BLAM Ads truly appreciates your business and appreciates your referrals. We have affiliates earning over $20,000 a month through referrals alone so be sure to pull the link inside your account and share it with all your webmaster and affiliate friends!

Before getting into our newsletter, let me explain a couple new features and bugs that our users requested:

  • Ability to add subids within the HTML gateway code. Now publishers can dynamically implement subids and track their HTML and flash gateways by page, or by whatever variable you set. This will help you better optimize your landing pages for the highest conversion rates. We also already have some developers that are utilizing this to protect their backends and divide up their publishers by using the subid variable.
  • BLM.bz Link Editing. This feature seems pretty common sensical in retrospect, but we forget to build in necessary features and this was suggested by one of the members of our Facebook community. Now users can edit existing redirect BLM.BZ destination URL’s within the affiliate panel.
  • Slow Reports / Frozen Report Bug. This bug was driving our entire team crazy and we’ve pressed our development team to come up with a fix and they have. This was released earlier this week and we are going to do some database maintenance soon that will resolve the remainder on it so it’ll be lightening fast when pulling reports of any size.

Today we are having a guest newsletter post from our account manager, Dan Wolff. He’s been with the company for quite a bit now and he’s a true salesmen. He’s also been a long time friend of mine since the days of highschool, it’s been an honor working with a man like him. Without further adieu… let’s get into his feature:

The Hustle, The Grind, it’s time to get it, and do it big with BLAM! The numbers continue to skyrocket at BLAM! with all these new offers and all this great traffic. We appreciate all the traffic you run with us, and if there is anything we can do to better your experience here don’t hesitate to hit us up.   AIM/Skype/E-mail, we are here for you.  Guiding you down the right path is our goal, and with all our blog posts(link) and our Facebook group(link), we are definitely seeing some greater conversion rates and EPC’s than ever before.  On to this weeks guide, The Hustle and Bustle:

When you get help you get paid, FACT! When you contact an AM at least 2x a week you earn more money, FACT! When you use BLAM Ads the premiere content locking, incentivized network you make the rest of the industry look like fools, YES! How can I make more money with the Gateway? Instead of using the Automatic Gateway, in the Sort Method, try Favor High CR. Keep in mind, this does not work for all sites.  Having a Skin that looks like your site heavily increases the trust your users will have in the gateway. If you can create a skin that looks like your site, than upload it to our system and watch the money start rolling. Don’t hesitate split testing, if you see something isn’t converting well switch it out. If you need advice on what to switch it out with, come on, that’s what the Account Manager’s are here for.

I know, I know, everyone keeps saying, “There are SO MANY OFFERS”. I’m so sorry, our business development is getting many offers, oh wait, no I’m not. Need help on what to choose from, just let us know how you’ve had success in the past and we’ll hook you up with what’s hot now!Oh, I didn’t mention the other way to earn more money, and that’ll do it.  Like, I said earlier, constant contact with your Account Manager can improve earnings, but I didn’t mention the bumps that your Account Managers can give you.  Some of the affiliates that have the closest relationships with the Account Managers at BLAM are the affiliates that make the most money.  Be one of the top affiliates at BLAM, keep in contact with your AM.

SEO Buzz Words that Make Cents

I gotta’ say guys – I absolutely love the BLAM Ads community we made together. I spent a lot of time this weekend chatting with other members, getting ideas to improve our technology, sharing some of our internal secrets, and getting to actually meet the people that spend their days developing monetization models for BLAM Ads. We are building BLAM to be your platform, I’m personally surveying affiliates right now to see if they have feedback. I have heard some of the most exciting ideas, and embarrassing bugs over the past couple days. It’s refreshing to see this type of feedback – the feedback that only active members can give. Anyways, today we have a guest newsletter from our newest account manager, Goutham Vipparthi – an expert in search engine optimization and a long time partner of our operation.

We loved seeing you guys giving your suggestions, tips and what not on the BLAM Facebook group. Keep em coming! You guys wanted SEO guides and other guides on the BLAM group, I thought it would be wise to get you an SEO guide first as it was the most requested! The backlinking diagram for a new website was a big hit, in fact it managed to rank a few affiliate’s websites in a jiffy. Continuing on the trend of backlinking diagrams and SEO stuff, here you have a guide that will further give you an overview of ranking a new website.

  • It isn’t the most comprehensive guide, but will certainly give you a good idea of where to start.
  • Hitting hard with SEO on a website?
  • What to do and what not to!
  • The idea that everyone usually has with a new site – backlink it to hell, rank in a week

Although it is a good idea, it really isn’t the way to go with a new site. When you start working on a new site, you have to make sure that you don’t kill it. I mean it, building too many XRumer or ScrapeBox backlinks will throw your site off the SERPs. Take it easy, build a few backlinks at a time, don’t go overboard with your backlinking strategy! If you read through BLAMRevolution.com, we have a backlinking strategy for new sites. This strategy is good enough for basic competition, but if you are looking at a heavy level of competition, you will need to do more.

Web 2.0: Lots of it
Build as many as web 2.0 links as possible! Totally as many as possible. Your site won’t face any problems if you give it a ton of web 2.0 backlinks. Give it as many as possible, use SeNuke X to get the web 2.0 backlinks. Profile Backlinks : Easy does it – hire someone on fiverr to do 30-50 manual profile backlinks for you. They are much safer to use when compared to the heavy XRUmer backlinks. Usually, you get 3 backlinks per forum, so if you are buying 30 backlinks, it is usually 30X3 = 90. You could do them twice a week.

Scrapebox everything you touch. Period.
Going forward with your site, keep increasing your backlinks every week. If you have the SEO tools, use them wisely. As time progresses, build as many as backlinks as you can. After getting ranked, although you need not build backlinks, I personally make it a point to build a few everyday or at least twice a week, minimum. Don’t go hard on yourself, all you need to do is use a tool like senuke x and run one full campaign twice a week.

BLM.BZ Link Shortening is Growing

This weekend was huge for our business and it was surprising to see all the traffic fly in with on Superbowl Sunday. Internally, we ranked for all the commercials and used our content locking gateway to protect the videos. We speculated on keywords and did a bit of analysis before hand to have everything prepared for the big day. Our flash content locking technology killed it and our internal division put up some massive five figure numbers – we love this content locking game. If you have any questions on how to setup your content gateway or how to optimize your site, simply reach out to your account manager and we will get it going. We fully developed out our entire support center to include detailed guides and videos on each format of our affiliate backend as well. In the coming weeks we will be integrating a fully redesigned and redeveloped platform to help improve our ultra-advanced UI and make it easier for all of our publishers. I want to offer more features than any competitor while making it easier than any competitor in the business: our account managers should help with building relationships and getting you payout bumps rather than teaching you how to use our system.

Today we’re going to discuss BLM.BZ link shortening, where publishers get paid to be short. BLM.BZ is one of the fastest growing aspects of BLAM Ads content locking and has so many different uses it’s unbelievable. This technology was silently added with the release of BLAM4 and we just started teaching our publishers how to successfully implement it into their sites. Probably didn’t make much sense to you when it started, but as days progressed, I’m sure you guys made the most of it. BLM.BZ has been found to make a hell lot of money with download sites, such as eBooks, music etc. Instead of locking the download page with a content locker, host the file on your server or on a download site, link to that using BLM.BZ. When the user clicks on the BLM.BZ link, he is taken to a page where he sees a set of offers, just like in a content locker. Once the offer is complete, the page is redirected to the download page or the download link.

From our internal testing, we found that it does really well with download sites, twitter traffic, social traffic and chat traffic. If you are sending a link to someone via chat scripts this works perfectly, some of our biggest publishers have automated solutions that have been generating thousands upon thousands of dollars for publishers. Don’t try to use this on video content because we have a whole different gateway just for that. If you have any features that you would like added to our superior link shorting technology simply drop me an email. Below are the features that are being developed in the background and will come to you shortly!

  • Vanity tracking links
  • Ability to edit existing links redirections
  • Centralized and Easier UI
  • Individual BLM.BZ breakout inside of reports
  • Over 50 additional premade themes
  • Full CSS control of the theme
