SEO Buzz Words that Make Cents

I gotta’ say guys – I absolutely love the BLAM Ads community we made together. I spent a lot of time this weekend chatting with other members, getting ideas to improve our technology, sharing some of our internal secrets, and getting to actually meet the people that spend their days developing monetization models for BLAM Ads. We are building BLAM to be your platform, I’m personally surveying affiliates right now to see if they have feedback. I have heard some of the most exciting ideas, and embarrassing bugs over the past couple days. It’s refreshing to see this type of feedback – the feedback that only active members can give. Anyways, today we have a guest newsletter from our newest account manager, Goutham Vipparthi – an expert in search engine optimization and a long time partner of our operation.

We loved seeing you guys giving your suggestions, tips and what not on the BLAM Facebook group. Keep em coming! You guys wanted SEO guides and other guides on the BLAM group, I thought it would be wise to get you an SEO guide first as it was the most requested! The backlinking diagram for a new website was a big hit, in fact it managed to rank a few affiliate’s websites in a jiffy. Continuing on the trend of backlinking diagrams and SEO stuff, here you have a guide that will further give you an overview of ranking a new website.

  • It isn’t the most comprehensive guide, but will certainly give you a good idea of where to start.
  • Hitting hard with SEO on a website?
  • What to do and what not to!
  • The idea that everyone usually has with a new site – backlink it to hell, rank in a week

Although it is a good idea, it really isn’t the way to go with a new site. When you start working on a new site, you have to make sure that you don’t kill it. I mean it, building too many XRumer or ScrapeBox backlinks will throw your site off the SERPs. Take it easy, build a few backlinks at a time, don’t go overboard with your backlinking strategy! If you read through BLAMRevolution.com, we have a backlinking strategy for new sites. This strategy is good enough for basic competition, but if you are looking at a heavy level of competition, you will need to do more.

Web 2.0: Lots of it
Build as many as web 2.0 links as possible! Totally as many as possible. Your site won’t face any problems if you give it a ton of web 2.0 backlinks. Give it as many as possible, use SeNuke X to get the web 2.0 backlinks. Profile Backlinks : Easy does it – hire someone on fiverr to do 30-50 manual profile backlinks for you. They are much safer to use when compared to the heavy XRUmer backlinks. Usually, you get 3 backlinks per forum, so if you are buying 30 backlinks, it is usually 30X3 = 90. You could do them twice a week.

Scrapebox everything you touch. Period.
Going forward with your site, keep increasing your backlinks every week. If you have the SEO tools, use them wisely. As time progresses, build as many as backlinks as you can. After getting ranked, although you need not build backlinks, I personally make it a point to build a few everyday or at least twice a week, minimum. Don’t go hard on yourself, all you need to do is use a tool like senuke x and run one full campaign twice a week.

BLM.BZ Link Shortening is Growing

This weekend was huge for our business and it was surprising to see all the traffic fly in with on Superbowl Sunday. Internally, we ranked for all the commercials and used our content locking gateway to protect the videos. We speculated on keywords and did a bit of analysis before hand to have everything prepared for the big day. Our flash content locking technology killed it and our internal division put up some massive five figure numbers – we love this content locking game. If you have any questions on how to setup your content gateway or how to optimize your site, simply reach out to your account manager and we will get it going. We fully developed out our entire support center to include detailed guides and videos on each format of our affiliate backend as well. In the coming weeks we will be integrating a fully redesigned and redeveloped platform to help improve our ultra-advanced UI and make it easier for all of our publishers. I want to offer more features than any competitor while making it easier than any competitor in the business: our account managers should help with building relationships and getting you payout bumps rather than teaching you how to use our system.

Today we’re going to discuss BLM.BZ link shortening, where publishers get paid to be short. BLM.BZ is one of the fastest growing aspects of BLAM Ads content locking and has so many different uses it’s unbelievable. This technology was silently added with the release of BLAM4 and we just started teaching our publishers how to successfully implement it into their sites. Probably didn’t make much sense to you when it started, but as days progressed, I’m sure you guys made the most of it. BLM.BZ has been found to make a hell lot of money with download sites, such as eBooks, music etc. Instead of locking the download page with a content locker, host the file on your server or on a download site, link to that using BLM.BZ. When the user clicks on the BLM.BZ link, he is taken to a page where he sees a set of offers, just like in a content locker. Once the offer is complete, the page is redirected to the download page or the download link.

From our internal testing, we found that it does really well with download sites, twitter traffic, social traffic and chat traffic. If you are sending a link to someone via chat scripts this works perfectly, some of our biggest publishers have automated solutions that have been generating thousands upon thousands of dollars for publishers. Don’t try to use this on video content because we have a whole different gateway just for that. If you have any features that you would like added to our superior link shorting technology simply drop me an email. Below are the features that are being developed in the background and will come to you shortly!

  • Vanity tracking links
  • Ability to edit existing links redirections
  • Centralized and Easier UI
  • Individual BLM.BZ breakout inside of reports
  • Over 50 additional premade themes
  • Full CSS control of the theme

Killer New BLAM4 Features!

It’s been absolutely astonishing to see the traffic pour in over the past several weeks – we cannot express it enough: everyone here at BLAM Ads is truly grateful for all the business that you guys have sent our way. We understand how many choices there are out there and you have the full commitment of our team that we will continue pushing harder than any competitor in the industry. Our goal was never to work with the most publishers, our goal was to work with the best – and I believe that we’ve aligned ourselves with some of the brightest webmasters and affiliates in the industry. Over the past couple weeks we’ve added, upgraded and fixed many features within BLAM4 and we’ll go into them all on here. One of our bigger focal points of development now is our BLM.BZ link shortening technology and we have been surveying publishers and building in your feature suggestions. BLAM4 is YOUR system, and we are the only company out there that truly takes every suggestion to heart. We need your help to continue growing it, so please – don’t ever hesitate to suggest new features to us! Today we are going to go over some sick features and how they effect the way you can make money with us. If you ever have any questions or bugs to report let us know so we can fix it immediately. Below are just a few of the larger features we’ve added this week:

  • BLAM4 Postback Upgraded: We re-programmed the postback in Java to handle the massive amount of usage it has been getting. We needed a stable, fool-proof system with no outages whatsoever and our development team programmed something that can take far larger systems. We have individual publishers moving upwards of $30,000/day using postback integrated with their technologies. If you need any help with this technology, read our support books!
  • BLAM4 RESTful API New Features: The BLAM ads API provides programmatic access to exactly how the content locking service operates on a site, giving developers control over the types of offers presented to end-users of their sites. Other functionality exposed by this API includes statistics and reporting, account and user management, and integration with virtual currencies – for example interacting with ads in exchange for a certain amount of virtual currency. This RESTful API can be configured to provide a wide range of response types, including JSON, JSONP, XML, PHP, CSV, and HTML. Access to this API is dependent on an account with service.
  • BLM.bz Fixes: As started above, growing our link shortening technology is the highest priority to us. This weekend we upgraded several bugs on the affiliate front end, displaying end, etc. We’ve also built in a FAQ on how to successfully create, edit, and share BLM.BZ links. We’ve been having more and more publishers use this technology because it allows 110% content locking without any circumventing. For anyone offering downloads of any type, this means more money to you.

As I said above, we’ve seen a massive influx of traffic fly through our BLM.BZ link shortening service because it allows you to 100% securely lock all content. Unlike traditional content locking that “smarter” people can always find a way to bypass, users are forced through our service which never displays the ending URL until the offers are completed. We also have pre-built-in technology for people with ad blocking and javascript disabled so they can run through our HTML version before gaining access. For anyone offering downloads on their site this will increase your conversions by 200% easily. We’re building a lot of killer features in this technology so stay tuned, BLAM Ads just eats our competition up.

Blog Networks & BLAM Ads

It’s been exciting to see all the volume fly into BLAM Ads over the past week – I love running this company. Building our BLAM4 technology from the ground up has been one of the most exciting aspects of our business. Now that the core tracking platform is completed we are able to release new features ultra-fast. The biggest challenge for us to overcome and enhance is to improve our automatic gateway algorithm. A personal goal of mine is to make BLAM Ads as simple as humanly possible, and part of keeping it simple is to make sure that our automatic optimziation works to the best of it’s ability. In the coming week we will have a newly enhanced model that will make our publishers more money, and you can be sure that we will not stop there. Constantly improving features, making it easier to use, and adding new ways for publishers to make money will remain a paramount part of our business model. If you ever have any feature ideas, problems or really anything in general please feel free to contact me directly or post it inside the group and we will implement it quickly for you! Anyways, today we are going to discuss yet another topic: BLAM Ads and Blog Networks EPIC GUIDE!

Backlinks, backlinks, we just can’t have enough of them. They say too much of anything is good for nothing, unfortunately it does not apply to backlinks. get as many backlinks as you can, no matter what happens to google, backlinks are always important. Over the past few years, blog networks have grown rapidly. They went from having just a handful of blogs to having hundreds and thousands, who knows maybe hundred thousand? People have had all sorts of myths about blog networks, they say that big G spies on these networks and penalizes you if you get links from those sites. People also believe that the blogs in the blog network are not good enough to boost your rankings.

The truth is that those myths are true to a certain extent. For example, when bloggers signed up at PayPerPost to sell blog links, a few months in and the Page Rank of almost all the sites on that platform was reduced by almost 2-3. Once that happened, a lot of people quit that platform and started selling blog links directly. Although frequency of work was very less, they got paid directly. Because of that incident people thought that blog networks are dead. There are a few other blog networks, like linkvana. With linkvana, you know that you are going to rank because you get your link on over 900000 sites! Unlike a few networks, this does not accept copied content. You create an original article on your blog, you let them do the rest.

Why blog networks are good:

  • Usually high PR Sites
  • Loads of inbound links
  • Controlled link building
  • Permanent backlinks
  • Cool rankings!

Some networks have a limit on the number of links they build, others however have no limits. They just keep building links until you ask them to stop! This is particularly useful if you are trying to rank in a competitive niche.

On the whole:

  • Blog networks are good, just find one which has a sizable number of blogs under it!
  • They work really well for sites with high competition.
  • Sites with low competition work well too, as said earlier, get as many as links as possible!

We established ourselves as a leading brand in the content locking and incentivized advertising industry by raising the bar to a level that our competitors couldn’t compete with. When we launched our company the competition we had was running their businesses unethically and we decided to change the standard publishers were used to. Like we did with EWA, we did it the ethical way and it’s proven far more profitable. We set a higher standard that none of our competitors will stand up to, and you have the commitment of our entire team that we will continue working harder than anyone out there to earn your business. With all the choices out there I am confident that you will continue running your business with BLAM Ads because you will always make more money with us.

We’ve also added over 30 graphical fixes, user interface changes, and fixed minor bugs to make your experience better. We rely entirely on user feedback so if you ever locate a bug or can’t figure something out, click here and our tech support team will assist you immediately. Since launching the lamb for in November, we have added over 300 new features fixed bugs and enhanced the user interface. Compare our technology to anyone out there, and I am entirely confident that ours reign supreme over the rest. To bring in the new year strong, we announced the release of even easier video content locking technology. Now you can simply add one line of code to your page just like the website content lacking Gateway and will lock all flash elements within the page. We understood that our old model was a very hard to use, so this new one should be even easier. We have a whole interface on the backend for you to block out or include various elements on each page. If you need any help utilizing this technology, simply contact your account manager or create a support ticket we will help you immediately.

Introduction to Paid Traffic

Long Live the BLAM Revolution! It’s 2012 – the end of the world for our competition and we’re looking forward for the continued growth of our company. After reviewing the entire year, I’m truly grateful for all the business we have gotten and it’s been the most exciting project for me to oversee. BLAM Ads truly has the most dedicated team and affiliates – together we will destroy these lowly competitors one by one. To start off the year strong, we’re going over a quick guide for Using Paid Traffic with BLAM Ads!

Using BLAM with paid is pretty much like running paid traffic with EWA, the only difference is that you are actually running “INCENTIVISED” offers instead of no incents. You could actually tell the user that they would be getting something in return for completing and offer. Doing this is not going to be easy, basically you have really less space on your ads to shout out the benefits of a particular offer, let alone the incent stuff. But still, we could manage to squeeze it in if we focus on the incent and not the benefit. Again, split testing is important.

Facebook:
We love Facebook when it comes to offers at EWA, but for offers at BLAM, we still love it. Its not going to be too different. We pick a good offer, create an ad, let it run and see business rolling. Not so easy of course, you know the drill don’t you? Anyway, lets say that you’re running a gaming offer. If you run it to Warcraft, Starcraft or any craft fans, you could include a guide, or a simple 3 page strategy that will allow them to get better in their game. This way you have a higher chance of getting the lead.

Google Adwords:
It never is the same! Keep it simple, get a “GREAT” landing page, don’t use any links that may look remotely suspicious. Again, pretty much the same when it comes to running offers on adwords, you have character limit for your text and you don’t want to waste it. Use it to the best possible extent and you are sure to get more clicks. The Starcraft guide will also work here, but just make sure that you target well.

Media Buys:
If you manage to get a good banner, flashy one with a good CTR, you are in for a treat. I personally prefer to scream out my incentive. That lures them . the next flash would be what they have to do, and finally a click here would pop up, yes people have to be told to click, they don’t know that they have to click.

Running incent on other platforms is not as easy as these platforms. Facebook is wide and huge, you have an awesome inventory at your disposal. Google is obviously huge and media buys give you great control. PoF might work if you have dating incent offers, don’t run a Warcraft guide on that site! The other better option would be running incent on PPV, and yes they run great on PPV.

Building Backlinks Through Guest Blogging

It’s been a busy weekend and there is nothing better than ending it with a strong newsletter from the most superior content locking company, BLAM Ads. Unlike everyone else, we work around the clock, 7 days a week, during the holidays, 365 days a year to ensure that our publishers get the best support possible. I was just taking a survey of EWA Network members and I got 3-4 responses of people that said they liked BLAM Ads more because the support was better, and that truly made me happy. I guess it’s a win / win situation there for us. Anyways, today’s newsletter is an EPIC GUIDE on Building Backlinks Through Guest Blogging! If you ever want me to write about a topic, drop me an email directly and I’ll make it happen for you.

This is pretty much an open secret. You can write posts on other’s blogs, most of them will let you get a backlink from that site, more than a handful of those sites would be good sites. Normally, the steps that any damn guide would tell you would be:

  • Google for blogs in your niche
  • Click the “Contact” page.
  • Email the owner asking for permission.
  • The owner “gladly” agrees to do so.
  • You post, you get a backlink.

Sorry if I’m gonna break hearts but it definitely isnt’ that easy. If it was that easy, peasants would not exist. Period! In theory, those steps would do fine, but in reality, they really suck. Finding blogs in your niche is not that hard, clicking the contact page isn’t either, pretty much the same with asking permission. But the owner does not necessarily agree.

Find Related Blogs
You are going to find a huge range of blogs. These blogs range from 99% dead blogs, blogs maintained by kids who don’t give a damn, spammers, and certainly fellow marketers. Oh did I miss the “real” bloggers part? There are just a few bloggers who really blog, just blog with little to no marketing ideas. The maximum gain they would be getting would probably be from – adsense. They are usually blogs that have a decent amount of traffic, but importantly they have a good pagerank and lots of backlinks. You will need to find such blogs. If you contact an affiliate, you might are most unlikely to get a reply, worse you could get your landing page stolen! Avoid trying to contact affiliates! Scan the site for affiliate links and then go to the next step!

Contact Page
Self-explanatory, but there are a few webmasters who don’t really check the emails they get on their site’s email. In such an event, it would be wise to find the webmaster’s personal email ID somewhere on the site. You could use a scraper for this, find a nice scraper like scrapebox and look for email IDs that match the name of the site owner. Manual search also helps.

EMailing The Owner
Link exchange is useless, unless you are building a pyramid or a triangle in this case, you will not go for link exchange. That destroys the who idea. You are giving the person a free blog post, you will not pay. If he insists on something, give him something like a free eBook or some advice, they will hate it, don’t worry. There are a few people who try to “MANIPULATE” you. Never let that happen. You ask for a guest post, you post and you disappear. You will not, for any reason whatsoever appear before him again just to say “HI”. Does not apply in case you really want to keep in touch, I really can’t help you here! Keep in mind these points:

  • You will NOT go for link exchange
  • You will NOT pay (paying is a different ball game)
  • You are NOT his slave.

After you are clear about all the above, email him, explain that you will write a “USEFUL” post about the subject. Explain that you will need a link back to your site. Keep it simple, don’t’ explain too much, you don’t want him stealing your business.

Owner Agrees
The owner may or may not agree, but if you found a blog that fits all the criteria I mentioned, there is every chance that you get a blog post. Get your head together and get a good blog post. Keep it neat and simple, not too many affiliate links or not too many links to your site. But make sure that you put your link in someplace clickable, you don’t want a hidden link do you?

The Post
Grammar, speeling (ha?) everything is important. People hate errors! Keep the post neat, no defamatory stuff, no nonsense. Proofread it more than once and send it to the owner of the site. Make necessary changes if the owner asks for them, but don’t bend too much, you want to essence of the post to remain. After your post goes live, you might want to give that post some scrapebox links. They will certainly help. Also, you could give it some bookmarks or any other simple backlinks you can think about. After all, that gives you traffic right?

Ball Like a Ball Player

I’ve been out for the past couple days but it was exciting to come back and see BLAM Revolution running stronger than ever! Our team has been working around the clock hand-in-hand with our publishers to get every single feature they want implemented in the system as quickly as possible. In addition, we’ve been building up the entire support center over the past couple months to encompass every single question that our publishers have had. If you think there’s any questions that were missing, or have anything you would like explained further – simply drop me an e-mail right now and I will personally add it for you. Keep in mind, we are still the process of adding various integration documents, and answering additional questions for any publishers that have relative questions once they’ve been approved.

On Monday, we are adding several new hot fixes that will help make your life easier and most importantly help make you more money. If you compare the service you’re getting from BLAM Ads to any other competitor, I guarantee that you ours will stack higher. We operate the most active community, have the most dedicated account managers, we are the only network that actually listens to our affiliates and takes their advice. We understand that it’s you, the affiliate, that truly drives our company. Anyways, enjoy our guide below on how to monetize sporting events.

It’s been discussed in the group several times and I would like to discuss it right now finally inside of the newsletter. Similar to people that monetize movies, you can monetize the craze that’s been going on with sporting events. In America, the most popular growing trend right now are the UFC matches. Our publishers have been utilizing SEO on all the events in advance and then content locking them with BLAM4. You would be absolutely surprised with the amount of revenue sites like this can make. We have seen publishers drive stable days of $15-$20,000 each day with content locking UFC matches. There are so many sub-niches that you can go with this and the traffic is huge. The audience is also perfect for content locking as they are dumber than a rock in most cases. Try content locking the videos of the matches and preparing the content before the matches even out, keep in mind the competition is fierce especially when you’re playing with other BLAM4 affiliates.

If you want another audience that is even more monetizeable, you should try hitting the WWE wrestling keywords. Try offering video content, it’s an easy seller. There are also so many niches within this I’ve been able to generate with some of my own personal websites huge stable base with a profit from pure SEO organic traffic. These sporting events are tailored to a male audience, so when you work with your account manager be sure to select the right offers for that demographic. Try building websites around specific wrestlers, specific matches, or really anything related to the entire franchise. SEOing the pay per view matches is another great way to reap some massive profits. You can offer membership sections on your website that require BLAM4 content locking to get access to. It’s another way to offer free content but still monetize the most important content on them.

Whenever you use the BLAM Content Gateway, be sure to utilize the tease timer as will drastically increase your conversion rates. Without using the tease timer, the consumer has no clue what they’re actually opting into filling out. With this new feature added in BLAM4, the visitor will get a short preview of the content then there will be more inclined to actually fill out the offers. Since adding this to our Gateway, publishers have been able to make huge amounts of more higher conversions. Last week we also added the “Try Another Offer” button for deals that don’t fire once the campaign is completed. Sometimes the merchant has a delayed release so when the visitor fills out the offer, and it doesn’t release, they can press the new button and try again. In some cases, you can get double conversions off visitors.

Before letting you go we want to make our most important announcement, we have just decreased the PayPal threshold to only $50 so all of our publishers can get paid without having to earn massive amounts! This is been a request over and over by our publishers since the beginning, and we decided to change the rules after Andre and the sales team lobbied the accounting division. Since changing this on Friday, we have seem drastic increases in volume fly through our company and we are excited to continue growing business with you. Thank you for being part of the BLAM revolution, together will band against the traders and competitors to watch our profits fly.

Membership Mania

I absolutely love waking up in the morning doing what I do! Running BLAM Ads is one of the most exciting projects for me within the Eagle Web Assets Empire. I have been able to oversee the project since the beginning with Andre on board right next to me. When we first launched BLAM Ads, we used a third-party tracking system as the core for our technology. We almost immediately realized that we needed to develop our own system from the ground up. After months and months of development, we release BLAM4. To say the least, it’s been a challenge for us to make sure everything is working and all the features are added. Most importantly – it’s a challenge that the entire team is up for, as you can see with the most recent releases:

  • We finally released the Country Code via API, a feature that was requested by several publishers.
  • Various UI bugs were fixed that were randomly occurring.
  • The custom report is now fixed and loading faster after the database restructuring.
  • We added impressions per gateway inside reports you can see specifically which content locker is getting traffic.
  • The hand tailored top list is now integrated on affiliate snapshot page.
  • Per user feedback, we added the Try Another Offer Button on all the website gateways. This will make sure that you get the maximum possible.
  • We extended the session timeout. So you don’t need to keep re-logging in over and over.
  • Add your feature here!

We are always looking for your feedback as it’s necessary to progress BLAM4! The more feedback you give us, the more features get added, and the more money you make. We are relying heavily on the small base of affiliates that we allowed into the network to hear feedback. All new applications have been closed, giving you guys a competitive advantage over any other webmaster. For this advantage, we need your support and critique on how to improve our system!

Today we are going to talk how to monetize websites that have membership sites. The topic was brought up in the BLAM Revolution Community, and it’s been a topic that’s been on my mind for quite a long time now. When I first launched BLAM Ads, I wanted to provide a solution not only for social application developers, but for webmasters to make money from their site applications. A lot of webmasters utilize membership sections to grant users access to more content to their sites. You can use the BLAM4 Gateway to protect the page that gives the memberships away. If you want to increase the value of your membership we suggest that you increase the number of offers required for the user to grant access to the page. This unique feature to BLAM4 can force your users to complete multiple offers on the same gateway!

In the coming months, we will we will be releasing an advanced protocol for webmasters that have membership sections on their page. We want to offer BLAM Ads as an alternative method for you to make money instead of actually having to charge to the consumer. We have been working with some merchants directly to provide similar services. Advertisers added BLAM technology on their offers to allow them to get money from visitors that don’t have credit cards. Instead of scaring away valuable customers, use BLAM Ads offers and gateway technology to monetize them without ever having to pull out the credit card to spend a dime.

Due to popular demand, we are in the process of developing a more advanced API system that will allow you to pass numbered variables. For advanced users that understand API, this will allow you to get even larger profit from your visitors. We have seen our merchants increase their profitability by 200% by having this competitive advantage over others that simply charge the credit card. I’m just touching on the generalized idea of it right now, but there’s a lot of room for your creativity especially if you’re a programmer. We are writing a detailed guide on how to use the content locker as a method to monetize your membership sites, and a guide how to use our API as a backend to get cold hard cash.

Before letting you go, I like to highlight the fact that we’ve completely expanded our support section to include content locking integration help. We understand that implementing the gateway code can sometimes be difficult, so we broke it out by HTML websites, WordPress, Blogger, Drupal, Joomla, and basic forum integration. If you have any topics that you would like me to explain, shoot me an e-mail directly and I will expound upon it completely in the support center for you. The Website Content Locking Integration area is still a rough draft, so please bare with us here as there is still some editing to do!

Thanks for living the BLAM revolution. We truly appreciate all the business you sent our way and would like to thank everybody that have sent over referrals. We are looking for webmasters that have movie sites, viral traffic, Facebook traffic, application developers, and anyone that you think would benefit from art technology. If you refer somebody in, we will make sure you get paid higher on all the deals and get their referral commission.

Upgrade?

Another day, another dollar, another reason to read BLAM Ads newsletters. We’ve been working around the clock adding additional fixes and features to our BLAM4 technology. We would like to thank everyone that took the time to reach out with all their feedback so we can better our software. In the coming weeks we will be releasing over 80 hotfixes including some more notable ones including:

  • Flash Gateway will output single line of code to add on pages to protect all objects.
  • BLM.BZ will have full gateway offer selection functions.
  • Ability for users to view offers via international proxies (built in)
  • Fully developed API functionality and documentation.
